About Nancy Zeltsman
Nancy Zeltsman is recognized internationally as a leading concert marimbist. Her repertoire features recent compositions for marimba alongside her own adaptations of music of other styles/periods. Her unique musical taste and warm sound, combined with the intriguing visual aspects of marimba performance and the instrument itself, have delighted audiences across the U.S., in Europe, Japan and Mexico. Zeltsman annually presents up to 20 solo recitals and marimba master classes. She has released three solo CDs: Sweet Song, See Ya Thursday, and Woodcuts and a marimba duo CD with Jack Van Geem, Pedro and Olga Learn to Dance. She was the marimbist in the marimba/violin duo Marimolin (1985-1996). Full biography
